The TRIBOLUB team from welcomes Professor Khalid Zarbane from the Hassan II University of Casablanca (MOROCCO) as part of the Labex Interactives scientific stays. This moment of exchange from January 8 to 26, 2024 on the Angoulême site is an opportunity to share knowledge on the dynamic behavior of soaked porous materials. Khalid Zarbane proposes a new approach by producing porous lattice materials by additive manufacturing. These new samples are characterized at the Pprime Institute to notably assess permeability and the capacity to generate hydrodynamic lift when subjected to cyclic compression/decompression loads, targeting applications such as knee or hip prostheses. These results complement the ANR SOFITT study carried out by the Pprime Institute.
